You Awaken in Razor Hill

For everybody that loves roleplay, stories, wow... a couple of days ago I came across this epic story.. I MUST share it with you!

The story is written like an old MUD or one of those interactive story books. And it is so, SO good! So good I seriously want to marry this Dusk guy who wrote it. I mean.. what the hell!
If no Dusk marriage is in the future for me, at least I will take my little hunter, go to the barrens, tame a lion and also name it Scratchfever (you'll understand when you read it).

Here's a sample of the very first part!

You are an Orc Hunter and your name is Tednugent. You feel this is an exceptionally clever name, but nobody ever seems to get the joke. You have a Cat for a pet, his name is Scratchfever. You feel this is also an exceptionally clever name. Nobody ever gets this joke, either.

You are level 80. Scratchfever is also level 80.

You do not remember how you came to be logged out in Razor Hill, but the place looks deserted. There are no NPCs in sight and your Track Humanoids, which is currently active, is turning up completely blank.

Scratchfever seems agitated. His Happiness is getting low and you don't have any Meat or Fish to feed him.
You have only 500 bullets left for your gun.

To the north is the road to Orgrimmar, it travels along the base of a short, narrow, red stone canyon.
To the south is that little Troll village you never remember the name of.
To the east is Razor Hill's large central building.
To the west is a primitive stamped-earth path leading out into the red rock desert of Durotar.

Read to page 6 and im stunned by the pure engenious powers this person have. I've laughed so hard so many times that my eyes have all dried out of tears. This is hillarious and i'll continue reading it once i get more time.

I myself prefer the story format in the thread though where you can also see everybody's reactions.
He has some samples of the book he's writing up at that website too.. it's GOOD!!


So.. I actually wrote him some crazy fan email (what the hell.. but yeah I did.. I even wrote about the marriage thing, haha!) and am making a piece of fan art too now (I swore I would NEVER make fan art... ever! heh).
And whoo he actually wrote back! He's a really nice (and hilarious!) guy but was was pretty funny was that I dropped some lines about my fav warlock addon (it's not a very useful one, but it's Phylacberry, which attaches the names of your victims to the soulshards I stole from them).. and then he tells me he was actually the mastermind behind that addon What! Haha And then yesterday I decided to dig up my fav warlock PvP guide of all times to read it again for some learning... turns out he wrote that too This guy already made my warlock existence so much better before I even know he existed, haha! NICE

And i didnt know of such an addon, but i DO know of someone who would LOVE to hear about its existance -----> *points at Elryia*

The addon is very old though and not updated anymore.. it still works, but not on all my toons.. currently it only works on Mogh! It can be buggy for other class toons too, it used to cause a disconnect of the game whenever I tried to cast a spell on my tiny druid for example! So.. if you get it.. be sure to disable it for all non-warlock alts! Apart from all that... it's a GREAT addon.. if you get it to work
I'm trying to bribe Dusk into poking the guy who made it to fix and update it though hehe (Dusk didn't make the addon but it was made FOR him at his explicit request to a friend)

Ah sorry Reåper, I didn't know that offended you or else I might have warned for it in the initial post

I myself do actually like the f-bombs, I think it fits the story since throughout it Ted remains as much 'the player' as 'the character'. And I think a lot of people irl tend to say/think stuff like that.
